XinHuaLou is a local eatery that specialises in serving authentic Heng Hwa cuisine with food stalls distributed in several parts of Singapore. We were approached to rebrand the identity and spatial experience for their debut restaurant located in the Kovan, Singapore.

We adopt essential geometry from the visual references to paddy fields commonly found in Putian, China; and translate the linear permutations holistically across the branding, signage, collaterals, interior space planning and furnishing itself.
