Made of woven polyethylene, the ubiquitous blue striped tarpaulin is commonly used at construction sites in Asia to serve its function as a protective canopy. Incorporated in the re-design of the Sacco chair, the industrial material is now placed in discourse, prompting the user to question its existential purpose.
